ArtFoamies Collab with Yetunde Rodriguez!
Every once in a while in life something really cool presents itself to you and you just cannot say no to it.
Our ongoing collaborations with ArtFoamies are those kinda opportunities.
What does this mean?
It simply means that some of our beloved Fodder School teachers, like our September FS3 teacher Yetunde Rodriguez @yaytoonday, teamed up with Fodder School and ArtFoamies to offer you a selection of their amazing designs as ArtFoamie foam stamps.
Not yet familiar with foam stamps and the ArtFoamies company?
An "ArtFoamie" is a foam stamp used in art and craft projects. These stamps are made of foam material that is soft and flexible, allowing it to be easily pressed onto surfaces like paper or fabric to create patterns or designs. ArtFoamies come in various shapes, sizes, and designs, and they can be used with different types of ink or paint to add decorative elements to art projects such as scrapbooking, card making, or fabric printing. They are popular among artists and crafters for their versatility and ease of use.
You can visit the Art Foamies website here.
In September FS3 we are going to be block printing on fabrics with Yetunde Rodriguez and then using our fabrics to create handmade vessels. Think plant pots and also storage containers for your home and art studio. (I'm so freaking excited!)
It truly is a dream to work with KaePea from ArtFoamies and our Fodder School instructors to bring these collections to life. Yetunde's signature designs are the perfect fit for the ArtFoamies technology and this collection includes both the negative and positive versions of each of Yetunde's designs.
Because ArtFoamies are custom cut for you when your order is placed, the turnaround time is about two weeks of production before shipping out.
In FS3, Yetunde will be guiding through carving our own stamps for block printing, but you can also check out the line of ArtFoamies that she has designed for us right here!
Read the Art Foamies shipping information before placing an order. You check out that and more on the Art Foamies FAQ page.
I hope you find this collaboration as intriguing as Kay Pea (the ArtFoamies owner), Yetunde, and I do!
