I have taken other year long classes which were an absolute disappointment to say the least; I decided to try ONE more year long class, Fodder School 1. I have not been disappointed in the least and have learned so much about myself as an artist. The list of teachers was spectacular, the lessons were well paced and doable, the results were outstanding for each and every participant who delved in to the class. Two thumbs 👍 up; and I will definitely register for FS2 when it opens.

Doing the large volume of work we have accomplished in this course has done amazing things for my art practice. I’ve found my style, my colors, my passions like never before. The pace of the course is somehow just perfect!! I’ve done every month and that’s never happened before in a year long course. Fodder School is my all time favorite mixed media class. From the wonderful teachers whose amazing lessons brim with creativity to the lovely community of fodderers , this has created a welcoming space for me to learn and grow in my art. I have learned so many new techniques and ways to use my fodder. Aside from the main lesson each month there are bonus lessons upon bonus lessons, so much bang for my buck! This has been the best online experience ever! There is so much content, and it just keeps growing. Each lesson is approachable and achievable. It breaks down art concepts into bite size chunks that keep them from being overwhelming. This has been the best course I have ever taken. I have lost count if the number of classes I have bought over the last few years. This has been the only one that I have done every single lesson. I absolutely love it and my confidence has grown enormously. I have bought the other classes but then just feel too intimidated to start. Fodder School has been so different. I felt so confident to start with. Each month starts with you producing the Fodder and then the second part you make a project. I really felt like my hand was held, and everyone is so encouraging. It has helped my mental health and confidence. I am definitely doing Fodder School 2.

Fodder School 1 is hands down the best class I’ve ever taken. So much talent and creativity in one place.
